Welcome to Cubbon House

The refurbishment of Cubbon House produced good quality, modern, comfortable rooms in a traditional, fairly small, seafront building. Due to the abundance and variety of pubs and restaurants in close proximity to Cubbon House, we do not have a Residents’ Bar and we find that our guests prefer the choice of dining out. Thus, not only can you enjoy a pleasant, quiet stay free from the noise of a hotel bar, but you can also experience a wide rang of cuisine, often at prices which are more reasonable than most hotels

We are not a large, staff filled hotel, which is why we can offer a value for money tariff structure, but we still offer a friendly service, which comes at no extra charge.

Cubbon House would also make a great location for visiting production companies, offering spacious rooms with high ceilings.

We are ideally located on the promenade of the Island’s capital of Douglas, adjacent to the main shopping area, and only a few minutes walk from the main Financial Sector, the Sea Terminal, the Victorian Gaiety Theatre and the Villa Marina entertainment complex.

The hotel offers a very high standard, with all rooms en-suite & is perfect for film crews who prefer to stay in a more intimate & private hotel.
